LETTER STORIES

This series is based on explorations with typography during my studies at Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) from 2011-2013. An optional short assignment experimenting with found objects sparked an interest in creating my own typefaces—exploring what it means to tell my stories, with my own letters. It started as something I did to ease my mind from heavy critical thinking and it became something I really enjoyed. Letter Stories is a work in progress that attempts to capture people’s stories through short phrases and poetic typographic expression. Everyone and everything has a story. Each story begins with a letter.
